Students! This is your chance to show off all the hard work you have put into your capstone design projects, and maybe win some prize money! Submitted posters will be displayed prominently and adjudicated during the CANCAM conference, happening June 2-6, 2013 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. There is no fee, and you don't need to travel to Saskatoon -- just send in your posters and they will be promoted and posted.
Appropriate projects are derived from fourth-year Mechanical Engineering capstone design classes from Canadian Universities. A maximum of 15 entries will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. The organizing committee reserves the right to reject inappropriate submissions.
First place - $400/team and a University of Saskatchewan BunnyHug* for each member (maximum 5).
Second Place - $200/team and a University of Saskatchewan BunnyHug* for each member (maximum 5).
Third Place - $100/team and a University of Saskatchewan BunnyHug* for each member (maximum 5).

The top three posters will also be posted on the conference website, and included in the conference proceedings.
Winning entries will be chosen using ballots cast by conference attendees.
Topics from any field in Mechanical Engineering are welcome, keeping within the themes of the conference - see the conference website (click Home).
Posters should be submitted as a single slide in PowerPoint format (.PPT X.) with a paper size of 42” x 36". Full-color is allowed. These will be printed for you in Saskatoon and posted at the conference.
E-mail your PowerPoint file to the Student Activities Chair -- Rick Retzlaff – firstname.lastname@example.org. Submission deadline is May 1, 2013. Within the body of the e-mail, please indicate University, College, Department, Student names, Capstone design class number, and Course instructor and Faculty advisor.
